2010  Coming events at Elk Island Retreat and local communities:

              April 9 - 11: Come visit us at the Sherwood Park Trade Fair. Millenium Place, Sherwood Park.

             May 28 - 29: Peoples of the North Saskatchewan - Fort Sask. Historical Society event. Come visit us at the Fort Sask. museum grounds and learn how to set up a tipi. Take a ride on a red river cart and much more. Held at the Fort Sask. Museum grounds.

            September 4th, 7:00 - 9:00 pm: Les Bucherons musical performance - for our week-end guests enjoyment as the camping season comes to a close.

            April 18 - 20: Fort Saskatchewan Trade Show

            May 15: Tipi Village display at Turner Park in Fort Saskatchewan during the visit of the David Thompson Brigade. A dozen voyageur canoes will stop overnight enroute from Rocky Mountain House to Thunder Bay.

 In 2007, we participated in displays at West Edmonton Mall, Sherwood Park Trade Fair, Fort Saskatchewan Trade Show, Capital Ex Parade, National Aboriginal Day  with the Royal Bank and at the Edmonton & Athabaska District Historical Festival.
